"Power of Five" presented by The Alhambra Orchestra

The Alhambra Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Daniel Andai, presents its season finale concert featuring two blockbuster works, Tchaikovsky’s Fifth Symphony and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no. 5 with pianist Ciro Fodere, The inspirational Firth Symphony was famously performed by the Leningrad Philharmonic during the siege of Leningrad in 1941, in defiance of bombs that fell during the concert. Beethoven’s piano concerto no. 5 has been nicknamed “The Emperor” for its power and scope. Soloist Ciro Fodere, piano professor at New World School of the Arts, is a prizewinning performer familiar to Miami audiences. Bring the whole family to enjoy these two magnificent pieces. The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, with a mission of supporting classical music and music education.
