Dining Out for Life at One Door East

Benefit/Fundraiser, Community Event, Food/Tasting

Dine for a cause on Thursday, April 26th, at One Door East! The popular Fort Lauderdale restaurant will donate 25% of the night’s sales to Broward House’s Dining Out for Life initiative, which provides services for people living with HIV and generates community awareness of the epidemic. Space is limited, please call 954-368-6902 to make a reservation.   Created in 1991, Dining Out for Life is a trademarked international fundraiser conducted in more than 60 cities that raises over $4 million for HIV services annually. Broward County’s Broward House has been an active advocate of this cause for the past 6 years.   With its unique menu offerings and stylish locale, One Door East is at the forefront of Fort Lauderdale’s dining scene. One Door East's signature dishes from Chef Oliver Lustaro are a mix of hot and cold tapas. Raw dishes include scallop crudo and beau soleil oysters. Specialties cooked on the oak-fired wood grill include red snapper and Peruvian chicken. Colorful cocktails are a delight for the eyes as well as the tastebuds, expertly crafted with ingredients like butterfly pea flower from Thailand and Yucatan honey from Mexico. One Door East was founded by chef-owner Giovanni Rocchio (described as a “genius” in Zagat) and Elke Quintana, proprietors of Valentino Cucina Italiana, frequently named as Fort Lauderdale's best restaurant.
