17th Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar

United Way of Broward County, Community Foundation of Broward, and Jewish Community Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Broward County will join together for the 17th year to provide an in-depth best practices seminar to local estate and trust services professionals at Nova Southeastern University. The Annual Joint Tax and Estate Planning Seminar takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2018 and is designed as a vital educational forum for attorneys, certified public accountants, investment consultants, financial advisors and business professionals throughout Broward County. Continuing their educational tradition of providing insights that help financial advisors integrate philanthropy into their clients’ estate planning, is keynote speaker Natalie B Choate with a program on conscientious investment actions leading into and following retirement. Natalie B. Choate practices law in Boston, Massachusetts, with the firm of Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP. Her practice specializes in consulting on estate planning and retirement benefits matters. Her books Life and Death Planning for Retirement Benefits and The QPRT Manual are leading resources for estate planning professionals. With more than 350 legal and financial professionals expected to attend, the seminar will begin with a networking session along with Choate’s keynote presentation: Working “9 to 5”, but Hopefully Not Forever - 201 Best and Worst Retirement Ideas. Following the lecture, event sponsors will be treated to a private luncheon where Choate will provide additional methods and knowledge for lawyers, CPAs, and financial advisors to help their clients achieve their philanthropic goals with the greatest impact and care.
