Fridays of Musicalia: A Tribute to Juanito Márquez

Please join us to celebrate our next Friday of Musicalia at FIU. In this opportunity, we will offer tribute to one of the most relevant figures of the Cuban Music, the composer, arranger, producer and guitarist Juanito Márquez Urbino. It will be an afternoon full of music, conversation, and a deserving recognition for this prominent artist that contributed tremendously to the Cuban culture. This presentation will be conducted in Spanish by Professor Ramon Gomez, a former professor at Florida International University between 1999 and 2017 and a fervent fan of Cuban music as well as of Salsa and Latin jazz.
