Holocaust by Bullets Exhibit-Lecture


For the past 10 years, Father Patrick Desbois and researchers from his organization, Yahad-In Unum, have investigated mass executions in the former Soviet Union amassing forensic evidence of more than 2.2 million Jews and Roma killed by bullets between 1941 and 1944 by Nazi killing units. This exhibition presents the results of these research investigations. The Holocaust by Bullets exhibit documents this lesser-known side of the Holocaust with videotaped eye witness testimonies. This powerful exhibit showcases Father Patrick Desbois and Yahad-In Unum’s historic undertaking to ensure that these victims won’t be forgotten: 2.2 million Jews and Roma executed by Nazi mobile killing units 1,893 execution sites in 7 countries identied 4,714 videotaped eyewitness testimonies Please note the event is on Sunday, September 10 but the exhibit runs until Sunday, December 17th. 100 Maps That Changed the World: Discovery of the Americas and the Establishment of the United States

An exhibit featuring maps from the collection of the Asbury family. This exhibit features rare maps and atlases from the 15th through the 18th century from the collection of the Asbury family. The maps were selected to illustrate the European discovery of the Americas and the exploration and mapping of the American colonies up and through the American Revolution. The exhibit contains maps by such famous mapmakers as Sebastian Münster; Gerardus Mercator; Abraham Ortelius; the Hondius family; Joan Blaeu; etc.
