Jungle Ed-venture Camps at Jungle Island

Never fear parents! Jungle Island is here. South Florida’s favorite landmark attraction is back with all-new exciting Jungle Ed-venture Camps, designed to keep kids’ ages 5 to 12-years-old engaged and thoroughly entertained over the long summer break. Available from June 12 - August 18, 2017, Jungle Island offers 10-weeklong, full-day camps filled with educational hands-on animal encounters. Includes arts & crafts, snack and story time, and additional themed activities. 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. starting June 12 through August 18, 2017 (excluding July 4.) *$215 per child, per week, excluding taxes. Annual pass holders enjoy a discounted rate of $195. For each additional sibling, the cost is $200 per week. Early and late care is available at an additional cost. Lunch package also available. No refunds will be accepted 14 days prior to the start of the camp program. The Children’s Trust Champions for Children awards ceremony, now in its 12th year, honors individuals and programs that have achieved greatness in their service to children and families in Miami-Dade County. The Children’s Trust will honor Congresswoman Frederica Wilson with the David Lawrence Jr. Champion for Children Award; Anthony Shriver with the Champion for Children with Disabilities Award; Andrea Fletcher from Children of Inmates with the Excellence in Direct Service Award; and the Program of the Year Award to Ailey Camp Miami, United Community Options of South Florida (formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Miami), and the A.B.F.
