Despite the nickname, he is equally adept on trombone and trumpet and is a man to be reckoned with on both. In 2009, New Orleans' premier music magazine, Offbeat, awarded Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue Best R&B/Funk Band for the second year in a row.

Gory, sexually perverse, and scatological in the extreme, you have to see this theatrical metal band to believe it.

Reverend Horton Heat


Singer, songwriter and guitarist Jim Heath, aka "Reverend Horton," along with Jimbo Wallace and Paul Simmons play their own brand of psychobilly. The group's music is a mixture of country, surf, punk, big band, swing and rockabilly. Their songs have been used in popular video games and commercials. The song 'I Can't Surf' was part of the soundtrack of the video game 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3.' 'Like a Rocket' was chosen as the official Daytona 500 theme song for 2002.
