Wings for Life World Run

Running, Walking, Benefit/Fundraiser

The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for runners, walkers and wheelchair participants. It starts on May 5th, 2019 at exactly 7:00 AM ET and only ends when the last runner worldwide has been caught by the so-called “Catcher Car." Thirty minutes after the official race start, at 7:30 AM, the Catcher Cars will start chasing the runners: for all those who get caught by the Catcher Car, the race is over. The annual South Florida run has long been a staple of the global charity event that contributes every cent raised towards finding a cure for spinal cord injury through the Wings for Life Foundation. Already the foundation has funded 191 projects globally with that one goal in mind – finding a cure.
