The show features some of the most popular songs ever written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

A Live Conversation with John Cusack and a Screening of High Fidelity

For fans of John Cusack and High Fidelity, a visit to Championship Vinyl would definitely make a "top five" list. With four decades' worth of roles in over 70 films, John Cusack will share stories from his career, answer audience questions, and give a behind-the-scenes look into High Fidelity, following a screening of the iconic film about a record shop owner on a search for love (and the reasons behind his failed relationships) set against a backdrop of over 70 songs spanning multiple decades and genres of music. Released in 2000, The New York Times praised John Cusack as "a master at easygoing camaraderie." Rotten Tomatoes has High Fidelity ranked #14 on the list of Best Romantic Comedies.
