Silver Linings—Frost Wind Ensemble

Frost faculty member Trudy Kane’s final concert before retirement features Frank Ticheli’s Silver Linings, a concerto for flute and wind ensemble commissioned by Peter Warshaw, in memory of his wife’s suicide. Warshaw will also lead a discussion on the causes and signs of this tragic phenomenon.

HMI Fellows Bryan Kennard and Alan Hsaio will premiere new works for the Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra.

Béla Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra—Larry Rachleff Conducts Frost Symphony Orchestra
