Art of Wine and Food Series: Wicked Wines

Join Josh Schall from Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits for our monthly wine pairing series. We will sample four delicious varietals of wine served with small bites to pair with each wine. Creativity Exploration: Weaving and Wellness

Museum

Experiment with Saori weaving, a Japanese weaving style that emphasizes individuality and dignity, while enjoying the rhythm of using a loom. Studies have shown that just 45 minutes of creative activity a day can significantly reduce stress and improve mental clarity. NSU Art Museumís Creativity Exploration series promotes the benefits of creative exploration and the mind-to-body experience. During these one-hour, interactive sessions led by art educator Lark Keeler, a specialist in mindfulness education, participants experience a sense of well-being, expand their perceptions of forms and improve brain connectivity through visual and cognitive stimulation. $15 per person; $10 museum members. Our Fund Foundationís eighth annual Fall LGBTQ Leadership Forum, a community conversation on topics of national and international importance to the LGBTQ community and its allies. This yearís discussion will focus on Lambda Legal's LGBTQ playbook in The Time of Trump. A panel and multimedia presentation will feature the frontline lawyers and staff who advance key priorities and active strategies to defend and advance the rights of LGBTQ people and everyone living with HIV.Advance registration is required.
