Miami Curves Week+ is teaming up with The American Heart Association's Go Red for Women for a one of a kind Red Swimsuit Runway Show. We are bringing awareness to cardiovascular diseases and strokes which causes 1 in 3 women's death each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. Women who are involved with the Go Red movement lead healthier lives. We want to educated our curvy community while celebrating body positive fashions because not only do we want to look good but we want to feel even better.

Miami Girls Rock Camp 2017 Finale Showcase


2017 Finale Showcase for Miami Girls Rock Camp, a volunteer-run summer camp that uses music and performance to empower young girls and women ages 8-17 in the Miami area. At the Finale, camper bands perform original songs written during camp week. Special guests, the brother-sister blues rock group AnastasiaMAX will close out the show.

Kidz Bop


Fans can look forward to an entirely new Kidz Bop experience at the 2017 show. The family-friendly live concert will feature brand-new songs, choreography and set design. Mutemath is an alternative rock band from New Orleans that formed in 2003. The group incorporates emotive vocals and hip-hop styled beats which are fueled by sample-like guitars and "keytars," a homemade instrument (a Theremin-inspired guitar) and other random gadgets. The group consists of lead vocalist and keyboardist Paul Meany, drummer Darren King, guitarist Todd Gummerman and bassist Roy Mitchell-Cardenas.

Thievery Corporation


The politically driven Washington, DC based DJ duo Rob Garza and Eric Hilton are Thievery Corporation. Many elements of dub, acid jazz, reggae, Middle Eastern and Brazilian bossa nova are all mixed together for their unique sound. Throughout the group's career they have included song lyrics in English, Spanish, French, Persian, Portuguese, Romanian and Hindi, which reflects the group's world music influences.

The symbol has a deeper meaning for the band, as guitarist/bassist Gwil Sainsbury notes, 'in mathematical equations it's used to show change,' and the band's relatively new name came at a turning point in their lives.
