FL Lawyers: Earn All 5 Required PR Credits While Helping Others

The Florida Bar now requires five (5) CLE Professional Responsibility Credits in the areas of legal ethics, professionalism, bias elimination, substance abuse, or mental illness awareness programs. We want to help you earn all five credits in just one morning, while also helping others. This intermediate workshop will help legal professionals to address ethical and practical considerations in a changing world. By providing a better understanding the role of health and illness in American society, this workshop will shed light on health, mental illness, substance abuse and dependence disorders to allow lawyers to advance professional behaviors and advance professional responsibility. Costs and Credits: Participation costs $100 which includes attendance at this dynamic program, continental breakfast and a boxed lunch, and five (5) Florida Bar approved Continuing Legal Education credits to satisfy Professional Responsibility credits in ethics, bias elimination, substance abuse and mental illness awareness. Sacred Ground: A Curated Tour

Talks/Lectures

Coral Gable Museum's Executive Director John Allen guides patrons through the rich and troubled history of Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery and delves into the stories of those famous and forgotten buried there, as well as the story of it's its current caretaker, Arthur Kennedy. Features a photo exhibition by renowned Miami Herald photographers Carl Juste and C.W. Griffin. Runs every Saturday and Sunday until November 4th, 2018.

The Underline Cycling Club powered by Baptist Health South Florida November Ride: Historic Coral Gables and Mobility. Join The Underline Cycling Club and Bike Walk Coral Gables for a historic Coral Gables ride that will explore the origins of mobility and connectivity in the City Beautiful. From old trolley tracks and hidden trails to the MPath, home of the future Underline, join us as we observe the cityís transformation moving to become a greater connected community with The Underline, trails and transformative parks. Cyclists of all levels are welcome and helmets are required for everyone. This ride begins and ends at the Coral Gables Museum. Note: There is a $5 fee for this ride, paid on the day of the event at Coral Gables Museum. Payment also gets you full day access to the museum. Love our bike rides? Join us for free, family-friendly bike rides along the MPath throughout the year. Rides are open to all bicyclists age 12 and over. Letís show that biking is a fun, safe, and a healthy way for you and your family to discover our city. You can make a tax-deductible contribution of any amount but $10 person is recommended and very much appreciated.
