Cover/Tribute Band/Performer

David Morin was born on the French island of Martinique where he listened to and watched Elvis as a young boy. In 1980, when David was just nine years old, he moved to Florida and his dream finally came true to be in the land of Elvis. As soon as he came to America, David and his father, who is also a big Elvis fan, visited Graceland and from that moment on David became even more devoted to become an Elvis tribute artist. David studied Elvis’ moves, voice and mannerisms from then on.

Nestor Torres

Jazz

Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Nestor Torres moved to New York City, where he pursued Classical flute studies at Mannes School of Music, Jazz at Berklee College of Music and Classical and Jazz at New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. During that time he also learned to improvise in the 'Charanga' Cuban Dance Music genre, which helped shape and develop Torres' unique melodic and danceable style.

Mac Arnold & Plate Full O' Blues

South Carolina native Mac Arnold is a veteran performer with ties to legendary blues and R&B artists such as Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Otis Redding and John Lee Hooker. He spent time in Los Angeles producing "Soul Train" with Don Cornelius and even provided bass music for the "Sanford & Son" television show. Now he returns with his own band and a "plate full" of CDs, building a new foundation in blues, soul and funk.

Yvette Norwood-Tiger

Jazz

Yvette Norwood-Tiger, vocalist, songwriter, vocal coach, recording artist and The Recording Academy (GRAMMY) voting member, is a Detroit, Michigan native who hails from a family of musicians, including a father who played guitar and a mother who played drums. Yvette is the founder and director of the Palm Beach International Jazz Festival Organization. Her CDs, A'LA ELLA! and whY NoT... Love, Peace, Joy, Jazz, features music from great composers such as Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, and the Gershwins. Her current project, CD titled LOVE IS, celebrates the many aspects of love with jazz standards and original compositions. Yvette’s general repertoire includes jazz standards, bebop, and Latin jazz. She performs with vocally clean and pure interpretations of the great American Songbook, while emphasizing intonation and storytelling. Her vocal styling and texture is often compared to that of Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.

Flavio Silva and Break Free

Break Free is an exploration between cultures, and so incorporates the American art form with both African and Afro Brazilian sounds. The multi-brand endorsee presents this dynamic and versatile music with particular dexterity and flair, while maintaining the attention and appreciation of all music lovers.

A Summer Theatre Camp at Arts Garage for kids ages 6 to 9 years old. The 3-week camp starts on June 3 and kids attend daily from 9 am – 4 pm. “Set the Stage” is a unique summer camp where young artists learn about all aspects of theatre. From set design to writing and performance, participants will have the opportunity to use their imaginations and work together to create their own production.

The Five Boroughs

The Five Boroughs will bring you back in time to the 50’s and 60’s when Rock n Roll shows were exciting, and fans mobbed venues like The Brooklyn Fox, The Apollo Theatre, The Brooklyn Paramount, and went wild at Murray the K’s swinging soiree’! Formed in 1986 in South Florida by singer Frank Lovino to carry on the tradition of the harmony vocal groups of the 1950s and 1960s, the Five Boroughs consisted of several transplanted New Yorkers, many of whom were longtime veterans of the doo wop circuit.

Gumby Navedo

With the beginning of this New Year 2019, we want to take advantage of it to be able to record a tribute to the Orquesta Aragon that has been performing for 80 years as a group. It is exquisite music to enjoy with the combination of the violins with the flute and the typical sound of the Traditional Charanga. It consists of 2 violins, flute, piano, bass and three percussionists (Conga, Timbal & Guiro).

Bill Muter

R&B/Soul

Multi-instrumentalist, producer and best-selling author, Bill Muter, brings his new book “Topless in Tokyo” to life at the Arts Garage. The book features a series of stories about the musician's travel and life mishaps over the years. For every story in the book, there is a corresponding song that will be performed by Bill’s band which features a blend of R&B/Funk and Jazz.

Douyé

Jazz

Douyé performs jazz standards in a way that makes the songs new again. Her sound is delicate, pure and sophisticated. Her style in presentation of repertoire is done with elegance and finesse. Douyé has since worked very hard at finding her own place in the jazz world. Rather than doing it halfway or merely copying the great jazz singers of the past, she was determined to study hard, learn a countless number of songs, and sing jazz in her own way.

Bluesman Ray Cashman

Blues

Ray Cashman is a blues singer, songwriter and guitarist, who performs mainly solo or with an electric band. Armed with a National guitar, stomp box and a Fender amp he performs a blues gumbo repertoire that can conjure up the ghosts of the Mississippi delta. Cashman grew up outside of Conroe, TX, listening to older black men play guitar, sing and drink. The influences of those times are certainly everywhere in his music. Filled with years of experience from travel and inspirations of Southern Gothic literature his songs are filled with passion and feelings and honesty and subtly be damned.
