A unique summer camp where young creatives learn about all aspects of theatre. From set design to writing and performance, students will use their imagination and work together to create their own production. Eddie Turner & Trouble

Eddie Turner has done just about everything. A guitarist since age 12, he honed his skills alongside San Francisco’s legendary Tracy Nelson & Mother Earth in the ’70s and Denver’s hard-hitting Zephyr in the ’80s, before becoming a founding member of the Otis Taylor Band in the ’90s and then earning a prestigious Blues Music Award nomination for his own solo career in the mid-2000s.

The Wildfire Band

The Wildfire Band is the loving “refiring” of the beloved BlueFire Band. The BlueFire Band, with core members Randi Fishenfeld, Richard Velasquez, Nick Cucunato, and Michael Waxman (joined 2007) had been performing and wowing audiences throughout South Florida for 18 years. Jeffrey Lafferty, drummer, joined the band as a permanent member in 2013. BlueFire garnered a huge loyal and adoring fan base due to the amazing chemistry and musicianship of its members. Fanni Sarkozy and Friends

A multi award winning pianist, singer and composer proficient in jazz and classical music. With multiple recordings and awards, Fanni has became an internationally recognized artist. Her composition “No Time To Lose” won the Grand Prize of the International Songwriting Contest in France in 2010. In the same year, the Jazziz Magazine released a review and a CD-attachment with one of her original songs. In 2012, she won the “Best Jazz Album of the Year” in Hungary’s most prominent award, the Fonogram Awards with the Mrs. Columbo Band.

The Norman Jackson Band

Ranked 3rd in the world at the 2016 International Blues Challenge Finals, the Norman Jackson Band is touring internationally promoting their new release, “It’s the Drummer’s Fault”. “The Soul Machine” Norman Jackson was raised in Detroit and Chicago and learned from the true Blues and Soul masters. He mentored his protégé and saxophonist, Rick Shortt from the age of 12 to become the wild showman and lead player in the band. His nephew, the Boogieman was born and bred to be his drummer while adopting Danny Williams as his bassist from his church congregation. Norman and his band sing and play legitimate Blues through storytelling from their lives that will make you laugh, smile and will guarantee you “GET DOWN” as you “Get Your Happy On!”.

Julius Sanna Quartet

Julius Sanna is a multifaceted musician with a rich tradition in jazz, soul, funk and world beat. Julius was born in Tanzania, raised in Kenya, and moved to the United States in 1997 to attend college, where he had the opportunity to tour Europe with SNU Jazz Band. He picked up the guitar at the age of 9 and never put it down. He comes from a large musical family. Julius’s father exposed him to the richness of music from all over the world at a young age. As a musician himself, Julius’s father inspired a love for music in his son. He kindled the fire that got Julius playing jazz by playing records of Nat King Cole, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Frank Sinatra and Carlos Santana just to name a few.

Tal Cohen

Jonathan Joseph Quartet

Before March & The Von

Singer, guitarist, composer, drummer, and percussionist, Vinicius Cantuaria is well-known Brazilian musician in the sphere of Bossa Nova and Jazz. Born in Manaus (Amazon), he grew up in Rio, and after several successful records, he moved to New York in the mid-90’s. He has proved himself in a number of fields, directly or indirectly linked to Brazilian music. Leader of rock band “O Terco”, he released six albums in Brazil in the 80s and with his album “Sol ne Cara” (Grammavision), was a pioneer of the neo-Brazilian music in 1996.

Trey Wanvig is a 16-year-old blues rock guitarist and vocalist from Sarasota, Florida. In October of 2017, he won the Southwest Florida Regional Blues Challenge which allowed him to travel to Memphis and perform in the Youth Showcase for the 2018 IBCs. Trey has performed with many great artists including John Nemeth, The Keesha Pratt Band (2018 IBCs 1st Place Winners), and RJ Howson.

Spencer and Sequoia: Live in Florida

Spencer and Sequoia began as an intercontinental musical collaboration via email. In her hometown of Auckland, New Zealand, Sequoia would write and record demos. Those demos would get sent to Spencer, a Seattleite living in New York. He would then work on the songs with his band, and they'd send their work back to Sequoia. When she finally made the trip to America to perform with the band, what started as a musical connection became much more. Come see the dynamic duo share their love and music.

When you combine an accomplished vocalist, pianist, and arranger all in one individual, you have the dynamic Diane Marino. Diane was born in Manhattan, NYC. She started her early piano training of classical studies and jazz improvisation from the age of 10. Diane graduated from NYC’s ‘Famed’ High School for the Performing Arts and later received her B.M. degree from Mannes College of Music in Manhattan as a piano performance major where she studied piano with world-renowned concert pianist Murray Perahia.

Conductor Dick Lowenthal, professional trumpeter, jazz educator and historian, contractor, and bandleader has performed with such luminaries as: Mel Torme, Tony Bennett, Anita O'Day, Nancy Wilson, Clark Terry, Phil Woods, Bill Watrous, Randy Brecker and Jon Faddis. Dick conducted the Glenn Miller Special Unit for over 12 years, including performances for U.S. Presidents, Tony Awards, and concert tours of Poland, South America and The Phillipines.

Lenore Raphael (piano) is a Steinway artist, she sold out her first performance at Arts Garage with her brand of swinging, powerful mainstream jazz. Lenore is a 2-time Grammy nominee and has performed internationally at major jazz venues and festivals including Jazz at Lincoln Center, The Blue Note, Ronnie Scott’s, The London, Tel Aviv, Ottawa, Jazz Cruise, Joy of Jazz (South Africa) and many more. She has performed with jazz greats such as Warren Vache, Howard Alden, Harry Allen and Jon Hendricks.
