Improv

Mod 27 is Palm Beach County’s longest running comedy improv company featuring an experienced cast performing Chicago-style improv and sketch comedy. Mod 27 takes suggestions from the audience and uses them to perform fully improvised games and scenes.

Spanish Latin Grammy Winner, songwriter/ guitar bender El Twanguero is one of the most active artists in the Hispanic scene. He is internationally renowned for his unique Latino-Twang sound that goes from Spanish guitar, American folk, flamenco and tango and for his impeccable fingerpicking style. His latest album, “Electric Sunset,” was released in 2018.

Bill Muter

Multi-instrumentalist, producer and best-selling author, Bill Muter, brings his new book “Topless in Tokyo” to life at the Arts Garage. The book features a series of stories about the musician's travel and life mishaps over the years. For every story in the book, there is a corresponding song that will be performed by Bill’s band which features a blend of R&B/Funk and Jazz.

Set the Stage Session 3

Summer Camp

A Summer Theatre Camp at Arts Garage for kids ages 13 to 17 years old. The 3-week camp starts on July 15 and kids attend daily from 9 am – 4 pm. “Set the Stage” is a unique summer camp where young artists learn about all aspects of theatre.

Kiki Sanchez

Jazz

Kiki Sanchez is among the new generation of young Afro-Peruvian Jazz musicians emerging on the national Jazz scene. Born in Lima, Peru, Sanchez began playing piano at age 11. Later he moved to Miami, Florida where he continued studying piano as well as cultivating a deep love for American Jazz.

The Chris Shutters Band

Blues

Chris Shutters is a gifted songwriter, guitarist and vocalist, a two-time National Blues Champion (2007 & 2017). He was voted best artist/songwriter of Chicago in 2010 and best artist from Toledo 4 times. He tours with Kofi Baker, son of Ginger Baker, performing Cream songs and also with Corky Laing from ‘Mountain.’

Kofi R. Boakye is a 19-year-old Award-winning pianist born in Akron, Ohio. Kofi has gathered musical experience from myriad venues across the United States. Kofi Boakye will perform a show with his band and consists of original music and cover music of the R&B, Funk & Jazz genre. Boakye’s shows are interactive. His shows are high energy and kid-friendly and will sometimes go in the crowd with his melodica and play in the audience.

Bluesman Ray Cashman

Blues

Ray Cashman is a blues singer, songwriter and guitarist, who performs mainly solo or with an electric band. Armed with a National guitar, stomp box and a Fender amp he performs a blues gumbo repertoire that can conjure up the ghosts of the Mississippi delta. Cashman grew up outside of Conroe, TX, listening to older black men play guitar, sing and drink. The influences of those times are certainly everywhere in his music. Filled with years of experience from travel and inspirations of Southern Gothic literature his songs are filled with passion and feelings and honesty and subtly be damned.
